Cisco 6880X & 6800ia Part 3

We continue to have problems with these boxes, here is the latest 'Bus Error":






This was in production so we took about a 15 minute downtime, not pretty. Still working with Cisco TAC to find the root cause.

    Any news on this item? Are you running 15.1.2-SY5? Is this setup stable now?

    I am curious as well as we have just picked up (2) 6880-X-LE chassis for VSS but avoided going with the IA (sounds like that was a wise choice now).

    The October 2015 releases stabilized the platform significantly. Haven't hit a bug yet *knocks on wood*. For reference, we have 5 6880 pairs acting as parents for 30-40 6800ia switches per VSS pair.

    these things still have tons of bugs. We have hit line card bugs in SY4a and other issues after going to SY6.
    We are working on sending 4 of our production 6880s back as well as 2 unopened 6880s and 2 6816s.
